have tattooed in the US and abroad for even
longer. I have tattooed my son and my son
has tattooed me and is now and has been the
director for both the Woodstock, NY shop and
the Ft. Lauderdale, Fl shops continuously for
15 years. Several of my Tattoo apprentices and
Talented Artists have risen to becoming the
Manager running the “day to day” of the shop
that they’ve been working in.
Over the years I’ve seen the rise and fall of
“trendy” tattooing styles and studied the
cultures and visual vocabularies of ancient and
foreign techniques. I’ve seen the emergence
of tattooing as a major world industry. The
principle remains the same as always but what
has evolved is the development of more
creative work; new and better pigments…..
and concepts of hygiene and ethics.
I’m proud of the Tattoo industry, my family and
studios as well as the many thousands of
images worn by men and women the world
over who have visited our shops. My shops
are staffed by the best-trained, creative talents
working in the field today. They have all been
selected by me for their highly developed
sensitivity to the souls and minds of our
customers as well as their artistic skills and
integrity. The results are often stunning,
imaginative and original art that unites the
person with his or her muse, his or her
aesthetic and inner poetry. These are tattoos
that will be worn for a lifetime.
